Implementing HTTP chat client

Am I correct in assuming that if I waould like a web based chat to be run on my website the module mod_http_bind is what I need to implement?

If so what URL and port would I use to access this?

Can I use this interface (if it exists) to create a muc chatroom?

Thanks in advance for your kind assistance. I do have the documentation and while it describes to modules some portions are a bit sketchy, for a newbee like me :)
