Connection refused on Ubuntu Sever

Installation appears to have gone all OK on Ubuntu server

Status: Node ejabberd@lists is started. Status: started

However, when attempting to create the admin account with Kopete or Tkabber, I get a 'connection refused' message.

I have added all ports to iptables, but I get the same error with the firewall disabled also.

Where do we go from here?

Your help would be most appreciated... :-)

Connection allowed on Ubuntu, partly

Do increase your FONT SIZE by a couple of points so that you can clearly see the difference between a fullstop and a comma in the ejabberd.cfg file....

That fixed it (for me)... No further crash reports in sasl.log

Now the Web Admin.... Does not let me in even on Localhost.

That is AFTER succesfully adding a couple of users on the command line with ejabberdctl --node ejabberd@host register user domain.name password.

Look forward to my next instalment...

What version of ejabberd? How do you try to login? (username style)

Were IN

When I discovered that the URL for the web admin service actually is:

http://host:5280/admin

We went straight in and configured the first 6 users.

Now for the Web Chat package for client support...
