I installed ejabberd 0.9.8 on FC4. the .bin version
jabber was in use for some time with 20 registered users.
I uninstalled ejabber 0.9.8.
I installed jabberd 10.0.0 (14 Dec 2005) the .bin version
I copied the files database and logs from the old folder to the new (/opt/ejabber.....)
I restarted jabber
so far it works fine.
I did that:
http://www.ejabberd.im/shared-roster-all
but the created shared-roster with @all@ doesn't show after restarting jabberd and logout/login with gaim.
any suggestion? we want to build a community LAN for about 200 users.

shared-roster-all doesn't show in clients

checked it
new Shared Roster, with identifier 'everybody'.
Name: EveryBody
Description: this groups displays everybody on skynet jabber server
Members: @all@
Displayed Groups: everybody
I think that's ok, isn't it?

suddenly it shows! (isn't linux marvelous?)
but only myself is online. I checked with other user. evrybody sees only him/herself online.
Ok, after 15 mins it started to work.
Jabber is up and running on FC4 - wou!
