I am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of configuring ejabberd to work with MySQL. I am running 2.1.11 on Mac OSX 10.8. I have tried changing the configuration file to point to my MySQL server and it doesn't work. There is a broken link regarding configuring mysql on ejabberd under debian, and the other document on this server regarding configuring mysql says it is forbidden. I have tried searching this site and google. I am not coming up with anything definitive, only snippets here and there. Ideally I would like to know the exact steps to take right out of the box to get mysql working.

I actually figured out my problem was not having the correct schema for mysql. Once I downloaded the correct one from the git repository it is now working.
