Hi everyone!
I have problem in my network.
We use ejabberd 1.0.0 and our clients using Psi 0.10.
All users are placing in one roster group.
There is option in Psi "send message to group"
Using it some of our users sending broadcast messages to all others.
How to block it or how to make that only administrators can do that?
Thanks!
The server can't do anything
The server can't do anything about this, since Psi just sends a message to each group member, without using any special feature in the server. Ask the Psi people for a build without that option.
Is there another way?
When those messages arrived to person it visualy differs from others. I mean it looks like red star not the rocket.
Or can I set timelimits of sending messages from one account?
Example: if messages sending to other persons very fast (less than 1 sec) it will be dropped.
I want to full resolving of this problem. Users can use any jabber client they want. Technicaly I can't block products or versions.
Thanks!

You can limit traffic by bandwidth, it seems. Check theshapers .
How to block multiple messages?
Trafic shaper can't do it right way.
Can I set minimal delay between messages?
