I've installed a jabberd server (0.7.5) and played with configuration for some time. Everything worked ok, to the moment, when i created a file "pl.msg" with my translation. By accident i saved it as iso, not utf encoding, and after restarting discovery didn't work. I saw the mistake and converted pl.msg to utf. Discovery for my host worked and i had text translated, but suddenly i couldn't connect to any server. I deleted the pl.msg file and changed back to "en" lang, but i still can't connect to other servers (except for my other jabberd2.0 server - that conn. works fine, which is strange).
When trying to disco/browse s2s connection hangs (it is listed on outgoing s2s connections) and netstat says:
tcp 0 1 62.93.33.52:41427 XXX.YYY.ZZZ.AAA:5269 SYN_SENT
Nothing else happens.
I tried connecting to servers, that haven't ever communicated with mine, but they also don't respond. It's hard to belive that translation broke this, but it was the only change that i made, before it stopped working. I stopped the server, and killed all erlang processes many times - it always happens.
Any suggestions?
Sorry for inconvenience
Sorry for inconvenience - and another day spoiled by routing errors on networks...
Everything works fine - it was 'just' local network connection problem. Topic probably should be deleted :)
contributing Polish translation
Well, you may always consider to send that translation to Alexey so that it can be included in the next ejabberd release. (If you didn't yet of course ;) )
