About 5 years ago, Al Reynolds wrote a script to allow users to request Jabber accounts via a web site and allow the admin the ability to confirm/deny the requests. I have modified it to work with ejabberd and added a few features. The original scripts that work with Jabber 1.x can be found here: Much of the setup to have the modified scripts work with ejabberd are the same as with that of Jabber. I also created a password reset utility based on the code that Al created. I tried posting the scripts here but the embedded html within the perl script really did a number on the formatting.

Replace "<" with "<" and it will probably work. Two other mappings: "&" by "&", and ">" by ">"
