Problem when using Jabber Mail Component

i am using jmc-0.2 and ejabberd-1.1.0. jmc-0.2 has been configured well on ejabberd. And i can register account on jmc. but something wrong happened every time when it retreive mail from the mail server that i config. The error message likes this:

An error appears while checking emails:
220 netarchlab.tsinghua.edu.cn ESMTP Sendmail 8.13.6/8.13.6; Wed, 7 Jun 2006 11:27:42 +0800 (CST)

is there anyone here who met this problem before? i hope to get some advices from you, thank you!!

Thanks! I have fixed it out by myself. a stupid mistake. the port should be 110, but i make it as 25. :P

maybe some day we could use jmc to send emails not only retrieve them.

Problem with JMC and IMAP

Hello everybody,

I'm using jmc0.2 with ejabberd 1.1.1 and it's ok with my pop3's account (I see all e-mail) but no with my imap's account. I don't know if jmc try to connect to the imap server. Do you know how can I check that ?

Maybe you entered wrong information?

By using Ethereal or something like that?
