System NOT running to use fully qualified hostnames ?

Hello, I'd like to have ejabberd working on my host jabber.somehost.ru. I wrote in configuration file:
{hosts, ["jabber.somehost.ru"]}.
Computers hostname is "testmachine" and it shoudn't be changed

Trying to start ejabberd with:

ejabberdctl ejabberd@jabber.vktv.ru start

And got the following error:

Can't get node 'ejabberd@jabber.somehost.ru' status: nodedown

How to deal with this problem ?
