broadcasting through group

Hello

I am going to migrare my private jabber server from openfire to ejabberd because first one is really ram hungry but before I do that I wanted to know one thing.

My server have couple of groups already with shared roster and ability to broadcast messages through whole group. Any user in a group can send message to for example groupname@broadcast.servername.com I really need that option and my question is where should I look to enable something like that on ejabberd.

Can I use mod_announce for this?
