Server to Server dialback issue

Hi i have a client and server set up on two laptops with another sat in the middle acting as a proxy. The initial server dialback and response is as noremal, however instead of a db result being ssent next another dialback id is sent. This is not a full on description of the set up, i can provide more info but it's fairly long winded and i don't wanna write it all out if no one's around.
