PAM authentication and shared rosters

Hi,

I have set up ejabberd to authenticate against PAM, however shared rosters do not seem to work. I then reconfigured to use Internal auth and the rosters showed up.

I have not been able to find any confirmation that shared rosters don't work with PAM (and perhaps other authentication methods)

Can anyone confirm this?
