How do I disable this feature:

That protocol was implemented in ejabberd many time ago, and there isn't any option to enable or disable it.

Now the protocol is discouraged. Modern clients don't support XEP-18, so probably your users will not know how to use that.

I think support for this protocol should be removed from next version of ejabberd. The related ticket is available here: Remove support for the deprecated XEP-0018 Invisible Presence

It's nothing to do? Don't have a workaround? The unique solution is waiting for the new release?

I've written a small patch for ejabberd 2.0.2, you can find it in the ticket.

If you try the patch, please tell me if it seems good.
